Scope:
ERA’s PPR is the ideal and above all cost-effective solution for piping installations in schools, hospitals, hotels, office blocks as well as in fields of modular construction.
System: Good long term pressure resistance and easy processing and installation technique give cold and hot water systems made of PP-R pipes an advantage as an alternative to the traditional systems.
PPR systems are available in a wide range of pipes sizes and fittings from 20mm to 63mm.
The performance characteristics of PPR pipe:
Hygienic and non-toxic: PP-R material is completely composed of carbon and hydrogen, without adding any toxic heavy metal salt stabilizer. The hygienic performance of the material has been tested by the national authoritative department.
Long service life PPR pipes have a service life of more than 50 years under the rated operating temperature and pressure.
Small water flow resistance: The inner wall of the pipe is smooth and will not scale. The friction coefficient is only 0.007, which is much lower than that of metal pipes. The water passing capacity is more than 30% higher than that of metal pipes of the same specification.
