All Plasson electrofusion fittings (rated 160 psi and higher) are manufactured using PE 4710 black compounded resins listed in the PPI TR-4 and which conform to international standards for potable water including NSF 61.

Plasson Electrofusion Smart System
As a component of our Electrofusion Smart System, our Electrofusion Fittings can be connected to the Plasson Control Box to automatically obtain the fitting fusion information, without reading the barcode of the fitting.
The entire Plasson USA Electrofusion process is executed and fully monitored by the computerized Plasson Control Boxes, minimizing the potential for operator error. This enables safe and dependable connections.
Our Electrofusion Fittings are manufactured using PE 4710 black compounded resins listed in the PPI-TR4 and which conform to international standards for potable water including NSF 61.
In addition, our Electrofusion Fittings are 40 Volts, with 4.0mm terminal pins and a universal barcode. The fusion and cooling times are clearly marked on the barcode of every fitting. This information may also be obtained by with the barcode reader.

Plasson USA Electrofusion product offering is a diverse line of Couplings, Tapping Tees, Branch Saddles, Transition Saddles (Corp), 45 & 90 degree Elbows, Reducers and In-Line Tees.
Plasson USA also offers a one of a kind adjustable elbow that will allow for those difficult tie-ins or line up situations that occur frequently in the field. All of our saddle type fittings come complete with their own clamping device to affix the fitting to the main, eliminating the need for costly additional clamping tools. Our fittings feature the Plasson Smart System and a Universal Barcode for compatibility with other manufacturer’s Electrofusion Processors.

Plasson USA Compression Fittings will withstand the same temperature as the HDPE pipe itself. The fittings and valves are not to be used with hot water. The fittings and valves will withstand sub-zero temperatures.
