Buteline Barrier Pipe

Buteline Polybutene-1 (PB-1) pipe has a barrier layer applied during extrusion to prevent the ingress of air into the system, which can cause corrosion of metal components of circulated water heating systems (such as radiators and boilers).

PB-1 is not a hybrid material and was specifically developed for use with hot and cold potable water. It can withstand high temperatures and pressures and is a proven solution for the conveyance of clean healthy drinking water.

Buteline Fittings

Buteline fittings are integrally strong and durable, moulded from a high tensile premium grade custom thermoplastic and pre-fitted with annealed aluminium sleeves.

These one-piece plumbing fittings, once jointed with Buteline Polybutene-1 pipe, form a unique and technically superior joint that is maintenance free. Users will find Buteline fittings much quicker to install and more economical than other available systems.

Buteline Tools, Jaws & Accessories

The ability to make secure connections is vital to the effectiveness of a plumbing system. With the Buteline Plumbing System, pipe is inserted into the fitting and clamping it (some other plumbing systems call it “crimping”).
