UHMWPE is produced by co-extruding the average molecular weight material of 3.5-9.2 million viscosity under high temperature and high pressure through an extruder.

Description
UHMWPE pipe is 1/8 of the weight of mild steel, but has high tensile strength. Also different from steel, UHMWPE Pipe is a cheap alternative to metals and ceramics, and because of its self-lubricating, durability, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. UHMWPE stands for ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, which is a polyethylene polymer with an average molecular weight greater than 3,100,000, as defined in ASTM D4020-Standard Specification for UHMWPE Polymers. This molecular weight is much higher than the molecular weight of most typical polymers, the latter being between 1,000,000 and 400,000, so it has the title of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. 1. High abrasion resistance
UHMWPE has the best wear resistance among all engineering plastics. The higher the molecular weight of the material, the better the wear resistance of the pipe is guaranteed. The abrasion resistance of UHMWPE pipe is 4-6 times higher than Q235 carbon steel pipe, 2.7 times higher than silicomanganese 13 wear-resistant steel pipe, and 3 times higher than HDPE pipe, which makes UHMWPE pipe very ideal for mortar and slurry discharge.
2. High impact resistance and ring stiffness
The impact resistance of UHMWPE pipe is 2 times that of PC and 10 times that of PTFE. It has good impact resistance and can withstand the impact from various sands, slurries and muds.
3. Low flow resistance coefficient, high transmission efficiency, saving pumping cost.
UHMWPE pipe has very smooth surface, low friction loss and high flow rate.
The Manning roughness coefficient of UHMWPE pipe is 00065, while that of steel pipe is 0012, which greatly improves the transportation efficiency and saves the pumping cost.
4. Minimize time and cost saving
UHMWPE pipe has good wear resistance and its rotation frequency is low, so the pipe replacement cycle will be greatly extended, which effectively reduces the total cost of the project. Due to good anti-adhesive property, UHMWPE pipes are not easy to scale, so there is no need for acid cleaning.
UHMWPE pipes have good corrosion resistance and do not need anti-corrosion treatment.
5. Light weight and easy to install
