ELOFIT is a PEHD - High Density Polyethylene PE100 - system of fittings for electrofusion and butt-fusion, PE-metal transition fittings and special components for the conveyance of fluids under pressure.
ELOFIT fittings are manufactured and certified by the most prestigious international certification bodies. They comply with the provisions of the National Regulations for gas distribution networks and water for human consumption.

ELOFIT fittings are installed by electrofusion or butt fusion in pipelines with traditional laying or alternative techniques as pipe relining.
In the electrofusion fittings, the electrical resistors are steadily housed inside the PE layer and connected to external cable terminals. When power is applied through a specific welding unit, the current moves through the resistors and generates the heat needed to melt the PE. Energy is transmitted directly and exclusively to the surface at pipe-fitting interface, producing fusion welding of the two parts. Once cooled, the assembly is even, strong, safe and reliable.
The main features of ELOFIT fittings are high quality and reliability of the weld.
