Although this adapter did (eventually) fit my extractor hood, Iâ€™m quite annoyed - as the item pictured is NOT what was delivered. I needed to fit 100mm ducting onto the 150mm outlet on my extractor, but I have *very* limited vertical clearance between the top of the extractor and the point where my ducting turns 90 degrees to go out through the wall. The item pictured in the description looked ideal, but that wasnâ€™t what arrived! The actual item is effectively two separate stepped adapters â€œwelded togetherâ€ as a single item (150mm to 125mm, then 125mm to 100mm) and so it is considerably taller than the item in the picture. In the end I had to hack things around to make it fit. Iâ€™m sure that for 98% of customers this would not be an issue... but it was a real pain in the butt for me! In summary - the item works fine, but be aware that (rather misleadingly) what you receive doesnâ€™t look like the pictured item. :-(

This was purchased to enable the coupling of the flexible ducting (100mm) onto the outlet of our new cooker hood which is 150mm. The cooker hood came with a 150mm to 125mm adaptor, but not to 100mm.

The adaptor is sturdy and strong enabling the clamping of the flexible duct securely.

Simple, straightforward, job done! Be gone fry-up smells....

Not many one piece reducers, this one fits the pipe well (no need for tape though I would use it or use a metal pipe clamp if I was to install it. Prompt service and well packaged unit.

My problem is the stupid Xpelair unit it was bought to fit turns out to have a 170mm diameter and nobody makes an adaptor for this.
