I've stitch drilled a few and then ping'd the cut out and then fit a strap on boss. Make sure whatever you drill doesn't fall back down the stack..

With no strap? To strap the stock to stick it to the stack.

Silicon........(joke) or use the key that comes with it to expand the washer.

Ahh. That would explain the "mechanical" bit. Quality.

love it when people say 42mm, its 40mm. just always makes me chuckle. My dad is the worse for it says 30mm and 42mm waste pipe. problem is that the merchants sell it in 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" so when i talk to people about 32mm and 40mm they always get confused.

think they are right jase..... the 40mm is nearer 43 and the 32mm 37.....i discovered this recently when i bought a ridgid plastic drain pipe cutter "p-tec3240" which is described as a 32mm/40mm plastic waste pipe cutter...but when i got it pipe don't fit in.....its gotta go back.....

it's inside bore innit?

External bore varies between the different systems and in some cases different manufacturers, e.g solvent weld, push fit and Mcalpine multifit.

Does anyone else find 11/4 Mcalpine pipe to be a very tight fit into11/4 Mcalpine multifit fittings, while the 11/2 version fits fine?
